07.18.05 - Bishop's Castle
This amazing structure was built by one man - Jim Bishop. Jim has fought the local and state government to protect his rights on a number of occasions. Despite it's grandeur, the structure feels no more safe than it looks. I climbed the tower featured in all of the photographs - it was an exercise in terror control.

Wow. Love the castle... I was going to suggest that it didn't look overly stable, but then, you confirmed that suspicion in caption. Nice pics!
